What is copyright registration certificate?

The copyright registration certificate issued by National Copyright Administration of the PRC may serve as the prima facie evidence of ownership of your copyrighted works. In the event of a legal claim or case of infringement or plagiarism, the copyright holder can produce a copy of the copyright registration certificate to prove the ownership the copyrighted works.

There are mainly four types of copyright registration certificate in China: software registration certificates, works registration certificates, timestamp certificates and original works registration certificates (please see below the samples of the four types of copyright registration certificate as fig.1-4):
