A seller, without authorization of a rights holder, uses his/her copyrighted images which is originally published in the rights holder's official website or online flagship store.
The copyrighted images have been previously published in the rights holder’s official website or online flagship store, but the seller used and posted the same images in their product listings without authorization. In such circumstance, the rights holder may submit a complaint based on image theft.
The copyrighted image has been displayed on rights holder’s Taolive flagship store. (Please refer to the copyrighted image from Taolive flagship store as below.)
This copyrighted image from Taolive flagship store was published by the seller on taobao.com as the main image of his product without rights holder’s authorization. (Please refer to the screenshot of the seller’s product image as below.)
Since the copyrighted image was posted by the seller without rights holder’s authorization, the rights holder may file a complaint based on image theft.

· Supporting documents: Please provide the screenshot(s) of the copyrighted image(s) displayed on official website or online flagship store, including the URL of the copyrighted image. Please refer to the sample of the supporting documents as below:
Please log into Alibaba IPP Platform (Complaint Submission-Submit a Complaint) and choose the relevant platform. For example, for filling a complaint against listings on Taobao.com, please choose "淘宝网Taobao.com".
Subsequent steps of the complaint submission should be completed as below:
1. IPR: "Copyright", please choose the corresponding copyright information. (Note: Please note that takedown requests against Taobao listings should be filed based on valid intellectual property rights under protection by PRC laws.)
2. Complaint type: Please choose "Product listing".
3. Reason: Please choose Image Theft.
4. Infringing listings: Please submit and verify URL of the suspicious infringing product listings.
5. Supplement infringement reason(s): Please describe your complaint reasons and identify where the infringement is.
6. Document proof of infringement: Please submit supporting evidence to demonstrate the infringement.
